Tube Cleaning

Where full-length Tube Liners are to be installed, tube cleanliness is of the utmost importance. It is critical that the internal surfaces of the heat exchanger tubes are free of scale, particulates and other surface contamination that could interfere with heat transfer from the Tube Liner to the parent tube.

Dial UHP Water Jetting

In some instances when the tubes have soft deposits of bio-fouling silt or mud, we clean using our standard methods.

However when tube scaling is evident we may use UHP (Ultra High Pressure) water cleaning to guarantee total bare metal surface of the cooler tubes. This method has been used under the most critical test of tube lining conditions, on steam and product condensers where the results of the tube lining are accurately assessed.

UHP cleaning technology depends on the kinetic energy of
water at very high pressure. Water usage is low and no
abrasives, bullets or other cleaning tools are used.

Motorised lance rotation and forward feed ensure no damage to the tube wall making UHP cleaning a safe, cost effective cleaning method that guarantees the total internal cleanliness of the tubes.

BoilerChemical Cleaning

Sometimes it is preferable to clean the tubes, tube sheets and water box interiors in one operation and for this we advise chemical cleaning.

Using the latest technology means water usage is kept to a minimum and equally important, waste water can be treated to neutralise and remove all traces of chemicals, solids, and suspended solids. Usually, this means that around 95% of the water used can be recycled and the solids legally and safely disposed.
