Condenser tubes which have failed down-tube can be restored to full service by the CLEVELAND TUBE Full Length Tube Lining System.

Other defective tubes identified by NDT can be lined as a preventive measure to guard against future tube failures in service.

After plug removal and cleaning of the tube bores, the thin walled Metal Liners are installed and hydraulically expanded full length, metal to metal, inside the parent tube.

This provides a monolithic fit with no air gap between the liner and parent tube.

The parent tube O.D. remains unaffected by the installation. The expansion system is fail-safe by design.

Liner construction material is chosen case by case to suit the chemistry and metallurgy of the heat exchanger and service. . Materials include: CuNiFe alloys, austenitic stainless steels, nickel alloys, etc.

On some steam condensers and all Fin-Fan coolers, it is possible to install liners without removal of Water Boxes.

Condenser tubes of 19 meters length have been successfully restored to leak free service by this system.
