Tube-end Sleeving System

80% of heat exchanger tube failures occur within the
first few centimeters of the tube. Causes may be
inlet-end erosion, stress induced cracking, corrosion,
impingement etc.

CLEVELAND TUBE cures condenser tube inlet or outlet problems by installation of custom manufactured Metal Alloy Sleeves, which are mechanically or hydraulically installed within the tube end, repairing existing damage and protecting the area from further damage.

The Sleeve is designed, manufactured and installed to ensure a smooth transition of in-tube media from the I.D. of the Sleeve to the I.D. of the parent tube.

The quality assured installation technique does not damage the parent tube, and the thin walled Sleeve does not interfere with tube cleaning systems.

Sleeve construction material is chosen case by case to suit the chemistry and metallurgy of the heat exchanger and media service.  Materials include: Copper alloys, high grade austenitic  stainless steels, nickel alloys, etc.
